I am grateful to the Almighty, for His mercy and His grace, Website Negeri Sembilan Forestry Department has been updated to meet the criteria established by MAMPU. Adhering to the mission, vision and objectives, Negeri Sembilan Forestry Department very seriously to sustainably manage forests in accordance with the certification by the Malaysian Criteria and Indicators (2002) to enable people to enjoy the benefits and appreciate the wealth of environmental resources continuously.
Through the display of information and current news constantly updated on the website, Forestry Department hopes the public can take a variety of knowledge to be adapted in line with the sustainability of the forest to ensure the environment is protected. The community is always first in accordance with the theme of World Forestry Day 40th 2011, namely “Forest for the People”. A range of services will continue to be donated and improved values that have to be satisfied to make the forest community as one which is synonymous in life. The concept of caring for the forests must be developed through community programs to foster environmentally conscious attitude and appreciate the beauty of nature. In short, the Department is serious in ensuring continued verdant green heritage, public health and the universal kept beautifully.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all levels of society and are increasingly concerned that the department staff are committed to seeing sustainably managed forests without neglecting the importance of the community. I believe the forestry sector will continue to be relevant and may be greater status for the benefit of our beloved country Malaysia.
