ACTIVITIES AND FUTURE PLAN OF ACTION
High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT) depending on the type and role of an HCVF that, following lines of action will be followed by Negeri Sembilan Forestry Department to ensure that uses and germane juxtaposition to the duration. Among the activities planned are:
The Census Of Trees And Other Resources
This activity is intended to monitor the distribution, quantity, rate of growth, the level of health and behavior of their phenology. These activities include monitoring the status of the target species and assess their entitlement to continue to be recognized as a target species in the context of changing socio-economic environment.
Research And Development (R & D)
R & D carried out on population biology, reproductive system and breeding programmes. These activities can be done on the basis of cooperation with the parties concerned, such as forestry and agricultural research institutions and universities. Currently there is an increasing interest among international agencies in support of development of conservation areas, but this should be carried out with full involvement of planned activities agencies locally. Appropriate conservation strategies are developed by Negeri Sembilan Forestry Department for each site and accompanied by a Quality management plan Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT).
Mark and preserve the boundary area
The threats faced by the High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT) can occur in various forms, such as the entry of unauthorised persons up to serious physical damage such as trespass and illegal logging which can lead to severe physical deterioration over spaces and biodiversity resources in it. Thus, it is important that any current and future threats identified and if necessary so that it need to be quantifised to be included in the management plan of the High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT) and reasonable measures are being taken to overcome them. Regular inspection and survey over the border accompanied by the relevant documentation may be able to help ensure the safety and integrity of an area of High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT).
Carry out inventory of various sources on High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT)
This activity can be carried out in conjunction with a survey on the resources on the scale of the FMU which is usually done at least once in each period of planning. The information collected should cover as many parameters and resources that describe forest situation. Further such information will assist managers in setting role/function and uses of High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT) is meant and decide types of other uses appropriate to it.
Maintain the database and Mendokumentasi And Install the Sign In respect of the relevant features and Resources
Creating the database came into existence and contains information about the source (living or non-living) in the High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT) included with the potential for sustainable use in the future. The target tree species in particular must be marked its position on the ground and on a map and subsequently didigitize into the computer application. Further these trees are labeled with a plastic label 4cm x 10 cm free by showing information about local names and scientific and installed at an appropriate height in the trees. Labels should be inspected from time to time to ensure no damaged or lost and the information on it can be read clearly.
Monitor Pembungaan and Pembuahan and collect Seeds
This activity is carried out on a regular basis and are recorded correctly. The pattern in the production of flowers and fruit will be monitored in the context of climate change and seasons as well as a response to changes in the environment. In this respect the data about weather (rainfall, wind diagram, temperature, moisture) as well as other factors such as the occurrence of haze, pollution, water flow, etc. will be monitored with input and cooperation from related agencies. Environmental factors already necessarily have significant effects on the health of trees and in turn affect the quantity and quality of the flowers and fruits are produced.
Detect and Collect Wild Child
Production of seeds and planting stock are viabel is one of the goals of High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF)/Identification And Protection Of Rare, Threatened And Endangered Species (E&RT) used as the basis of its establishment. Seeds and wild child from this area are properly labeled according to proven before being transferred to other places for the purpose of experiments or used in planting activities in in-situ and ex-situ and reforestation operations.
Set Up A Nursery For Breeding And Improvement Of Crop Stocks
This activity is as a complement to activities (4) above, but with the objective to establish future stocks for crop quality and quantity. The species is not targeted to forest tree species tehad only but also to all the species that have high conservation values (high conservation value).
